In a delicate moment like the one our country is experiencing in these months, hit by the Coronavirus and forced to face an unprecedented emergency situation, the first goal is to protect the health of the most fragile people.
In this situation, where we are all called to do our part by staying at home to minimize exposure to infection, citizens who live with a rare disease such as Haemophilia may have great difficulty withdrawing the drugs they need for their own therapy.
For this reason, Domedica with the support of Kedrion as Sponsor, launched #KoalaACasaTua, the free home delivery service of the specialties distributed by Kedrion, created to guarantee correct adherence to therapy for patients with Hemophilia.
The initiative is part of the “Koala” home care project and will be active throughout the Italian territory starting from April 1st till June.
Thanks to #KoalaACasaTua, a specialized courier coordinated by Domedica – by delegation of the patient – will go to the pharmacy to collect the monthly drug requirement; instead, the doctor of the Clinical Center of reference will be responsible for illustrating in detail the functioning of the service to his patients.
The service will be entirely managed by Domedica with the support of Kedrion, therefore without any economic burden for the patient or for the healthcare facility.
